Queens Comic Podcast – Episode 20

Now that summer vacations are over and things are kinda-sorta back on schedule, the latest episode of the Queens Comic Podcast is now live! This time around, Ian and Billy take a long overdue look at Matthew Allison’s excellent Cankor hardcover collection, talk about Ian’s equally long overdue trip to Desert Island Comics and hanging out in Williamsburg eating delicious BBQ, the new release of Devil’s Cut, Last Gasp’s Anarchy Comics #2, Billy’s recent acquisition of the Marvel Hip Hop Variants Collection Vol. 1 hardcover and, last but not least, the silliness that is DC’s new Gnort’s Illustrated Swimsuit Special! Queens Comic Party September Events

With August in the rear view mirror, we’re happy to announce that we’re going to be back in Brooklyn on September 10th from 10am until 5pm at 148 Frost Street with a great selection of toys, Funko Pops and especially comic books! We’ll have a few new vendors set up at this one as well as many of the regulars you’ve come to know and expect. It’s free to attend and open to everyone – be there or be square! It all happens at 148 Frost Street, Brooklyn, New York. Then two weeks later on September 24th, we’re going to be back in Woodside from 1pm until 7pm at the CWV Hall at 3946 61st Street in Queens, right on the corner of Roosevelt Avenue and 61st Street and right across from the 61st Street 7 train stop. This event is also free to attend and we hope to see you all there!

Queens Comic Party Events For August!

August is a busy month, but we’ve got something for everyone and all of these events are open to everyone and free to attend! August 5th – Royal Lot Con Billy Bombs will be set up at Royal Collectibles’ 2nd annual Lot Con from 12pm – 5pm along with a host of other vendors. It’ll be in the parking lot under the tent at 9601 Metropolitan Avenue in Queens! https://royal-collectibles-nyc.myshopify.com/ August 12th – Atomic Pink Flea Market at Neir’s Tavern This event will be taking place at 87-48 78th St. Woodhaven, NY 11421 and be held outside the tavern. Stop on by for toys, comics, and other items and grab yourself a burger and a beer! This one starts at 12pm and ends at 5pm. https://neirstavern.com/ August 13th – Queens Comic Party At The 18th Ward Brewery New vendors and a new venue! Join us at 300 Richardson Street, in Brooklyn for books, beers and food. This event will be going on from 12pm until 7pm. https://www.18thwardbrewing.com August 20th – Brooklyn Invasion We’re back at 148 Frost Street in Brooklyn on Sunday, August 20th from 10am until 5pm with more comics than you can shake a stick at – Pops and toys too! August 27th – Queens Comic Party In Woodside We finish the month off at the Woodside location at 6946 61st Street in Queens where we’ll have comic and toy vendors set up from 1pm until 7pm.

Queens Comic Party Events For July 2023!

There’s a lot going on this month and we want you to be a part of it! And the best part? All of these events are free to attend! On July 15th, we’re hosting the FIRST EVER Queens Comic Party Comic Book Crawl! How does this work? Visit any of these stores to get your booklet – get each section stamped at each store listed, and bring it to Billy Bombs (you can’t miss him, he’s the guy below!) for a free grab bag of comics! We’ll have different vendors set up at different locations on the 15th offering all sorts of great books at great prices, so make a day of it! Then, on July 16th, we’re back in Woodside, Queens for another show at 3946 61st Street, right across from the 7 train. This show runs from 1pm through 7pm and it’s sure to be a good time. As always, it’s free to get in so c’mon down and check out the scene. Lastly, the Brooklyn Invasion is happening once again at 148 Frost Street in Brooklyn on July 22nd from 10am until 5pm. This is the big one, folks!!!! With over 20 vendors, it’s free to get in and always a blast and we hope to see you there!
