Queens Comic Party

QCP has got two rad-tastic events slated for the second half of July. First up, on July 18th, we’ll be setup at Royal Collectibles for their annual parking lot con! This’ll be happening from 12pm until 5pm. If you’ve never been to Royal, you’re missing out. It’s one of the best comic book shops in the NYC area and this event is always a lot of fun. Show up – it’s completely free and there will be plenty of vendors slinging super rad comics from all genres and for all tastes. It’ll happen at 96-01 Metropolitan Avenue 11375… in the parking lot, of course. The second event is the first ever Queens Comic Party Dollar Days show! This one goes down at the Crystal Lake Bar in Williamsburg, located at Williamsburg, Brooklyn at 647 Grand Street. This one happens from 12pm until 5pm as well and, obviously being at a bar, there will be plenty of top-notch beer and cocktails to enjoy alongside plenty of comics. It’s a winning combination, and a great opportunity for the budget conscious collector as every vendor will have at least a few boxes of $1 books – and in fact, some vendors will have nothing BUT $1 books. Both of these are a guaranteed good time and a great way to socialize with likeminded comic collectors and all-around cool people.
